Nataliya Tsapko

Nataliya Hennadiyivna is a member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Occupational Pathologists and Occupational-Medicine Physicians; she regularly attends national congresses, international SDM web conferences, and interdisciplinary practical courses in otolaryngology.

She provides professional diagnosis, prevention and treatment of conditions affecting the ear, throat, pharynx and nose, and performs office-based procedures, including:

- tonsil lavage

- maxillary sinus puncture

- earwax removal

- removal of foreign bodies

 - control of nosebleeds

- treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory ENT conditions: tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, rhinitis, otitis, ethmoiditis with polyps, vasomotor and allergic rhinitis, adenoid vegetations, and others.

- lavage of the tonsil crypts and paranasal sinuses by the Proetz method (the "cuckoo" procedure)

- Politzer inflation of the auditory tubes, pneumatic massage of the eardrums and instillation of medication into the larynx

- use of combined topical agents and blocks to relieve mucosal swelling without surgical vasotomy

- treatment of maxillary and frontal sinusitis without puncture, using device-assisted nasal irrigation, intranasal drops, sprays and antibacterial therapy

- comprehensive treatment of otitis using modern ear drops, decongestants and physiotherapy

- treatment of chronic tonsillitis by lavage of the tonsil crypts to relieve inflammation without removing the tonsils

- phoniatrics: conservative restoration of the voice in disorders of the vocal folds

- management of allergic rhinitis: selection of antihistamines and topical corticosteroids

- treatment of medication-induced rhinitis: gradual withdrawal of decongestant drops and restoration of normal nasal mucosal function.
